  1. Collecting Your Information
    1. When signing up to Social Widget, we collect your name, email address, IP address, payment information, and other details necessary to process your transaction.
    2. When linking your Social Widget account with Social Media Platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, we access information regarding your Social Media Platform accounts, and you will be notified at that time regarding what information we can access.
    3. We use cookies (a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user’s web browser while the user is browsing that website) to collect non-identifiable personal information required to run the app. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag. If you set up your browser to not accept cookies, you will not be able to use Social Widget and therefore this must be set accordingly.
    4. We may collect some other personally identifying information about your transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, to be analysed only at an aggregate level. We will use anonymised data from your account to improve the service for all customers. We will not use the content you post except to internally improve our systems.

    1. ‘Do Not Track’ is a privacy setting within your website browser. You can set this so your activities cannot be tracked from website to website. We do not respond to ‘Do Not Track’ signals in browsers as we do not track your activities across different websites.

    1. In order to cancel your subscription to Social Widget you must complete the “Cancellation Form”, accessible within the Settings Screen whilst you are logged into your account.

    1. We use a range of security measures to ensure the safety of your personal information. These include hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third-party secure service used will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly. Billing and payment data are encrypted whenever transmitted or received online.

We only share your information with the specific third parties who assist us in taking care of you i.e. the password-protected, secure service above, who agree to keep your information confidential. The only exception to this would be if required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a legal proceeding or court order, to prevent abuse of Social Widget, or to prevent threats to others or illegal activities.
    3. How the various Social Media Platforms collect or use your identifying information that you supply to them is out of our control. Please see their individual privacy policies for more information about how they use your information.

Circumstances may arise where we may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize our business, or where we may decide to share, rent, buy, or sell business assets for the purpose of reorganising, developing, or expanding our business. Under these circumstances we would always seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. In the event that our entire company or the Social Widget application asset is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.

    1. We would never intentionally collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. This website, products, and services are not intended for anyone under 13 years of age. If you are a parent whose child has provided us with personally identifying information, please contact us immediately at support@socialwidget.co.uk and we will ensure all such information is deleted from our files.
